When I ordered them, they specifically said these were the OR model that was usable off-road. Are those now on the do not use list as well???cyclotouristhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08432432995861421062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-43993269398821683882010-04-01T06:52:24.898-05:002010-04-01T06:52:24.898-05:00@cyclotourist: I used to run these pointed slightl...@cyclotourist: I used to run these pointed slightly downward, but not "at the rear axle" downward. That is a personal preference thing though. I tend to like my alt bars more horizontal than most folks.

Please be aware also that since this was posted Origin 8 has strictly warned against using these bars for off roading. They are only to be used on pavement, according to Origin 8. I have since discontinued the use of the Space bar since due to this.Guitar Tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10960580677548417562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-61942804051854101072010-04-01T00:43:06.482-05:002010-04-01T00:43:06.482-05:00Not much out there on these bars, but they seem re...Not much out there on these bars, but they seem real nice, and are instantly more comfortable, just a little squirrely. I'm not worried about getting used to that. I just bought and mounted some, but not sure what angle to run them at. Looks like you have them fairly horizontal, is that correct? Marys are recommended pointing down a bit, but that seems kinda' extreme. Suggestions?

Thanks,
Davidcyclotouristhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08432432995861421062noreply@blogger.com
