Nice work on the build and thanks for letting the rest of us live vicariously through your build. Let me know if I can add any of your pics to the FatbikeGallery.com. Enjoy the ride!FixedRidershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16569656220459308049noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-81824070567601848742012-01-02T13:00:39.451-05:002012-01-02T13:00:39.451-05:00It's a beauty! It's a beauty!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15873728708321423251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-79902140794072796732012-01-02T12:04:44.485-05:002012-01-02T12:04:44.485-05:00@Dave: Those are nice! What a nice riding bike.

I also can see why a titanium seatpost would be great in my alu Muk. It's gonna get one of those this year!

@Vito: I would look at the MRP "1X" chain guide. They have several variations- one of which should fit your Pugs. The Pugs is an e-mount front der, right? The guide I have would work on a Pugs then.Guitar Tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10960580677548417562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-52047096854487624852012-01-02T11:17:22.201-05:002012-01-02T11:17:22.201-05:00Ted...Thanks much for the feedback. I'm wondering what type of chain guide would work best on the Pugs.

Dave...Those are some darn fine looking pedals. I may have to try and get me some red ones:)

Thanks for sharing the link.Vitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01277306434031774094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-43152967124598444632012-01-02T10:44:50.140-05:002012-01-02T10:44:50.140-05:00I just choked on my breakfast when a photo of that...I just choked on my breakfast when a photo of that bike came up! WOW! That's a fantastic build, buddy!! Congrats.

As an aside, I went for the 'ghetto Ti' effect, and slid my Moots Ti seat post into my Mukluk this weekend. It made an instant and surprisingly noticeable improvement in the ride quality of the bike. For those who can't afford the 'whole enchilada' as it were, a Ti seat post is a good option.

Cheers,
MGMGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00377768960221628840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-53872711461842819522012-01-02T08:11:00.091-05:002012-01-02T08:11:00.091-05:00@Vito: Sure! Lets say you put a 94/58 BCD spider on it- Then you could use a 30T perhaps to fine tune the range down a bit, or not. But again, I can't see why this sort of an idea would not work on a Pugs.Guitar Tedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10960580677548417562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12831567.post-19048561458084534292012-01-02T07:25:12.730-05:002012-01-02T07:25:12.730-05:00Very nice build. Questio...Very nice build. That is one sweet ride:)

Question: I have a Pugsley and I'm wondering if a similar drivetrain set up would work on the Pugs. I've been running single speed with a Surly Whirly crank since building it three years ago, but I'm considering gears. Any suggestions??Vitohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01277306434031774094noreply@blogger.com
