Just a quick reminder about the Geezer Ride this Saturday up in Cresco, Iowa. The fellas at Cresco Bikes will be hosting this one- around a 48 mile course- and they plan on having us check out the local pizza place afterward for food and craft beer. here's the blurb from their Facebook post:
"A 48-mile (approx.) unsupported gravel road bicycle ride in Howard and Winneshiek Counties. Event starts at 7:00am at Cresco Bicycles in downtown Cresco, IA. Coffee and rolls will be provided. Riders depart as a group at 8:00am. This is a non-competitive ride which will pass by various points of interest in the area. Finish at Atomic Pizza in Cresco for food and craft beer. The route is not too hilly. No registration or entry fees, just show up at the shop."
If you happen to have the time to check this out, please do. It will be fun, and I will be up there for the ride, barring any calamities. So again, the Geezer Ride, 2019, Fall Edition will be out of Cresco, Iowa, and it should be a good time.
